By the time ray turned 23, he had experienced more more traumatic and life-threatening moments than most people experience in two lifetimes. And it all started with a violent and devastating car accident at the age of 19. These events put into motion the foundation of his program, 'The Death of Harold'.
Then in 2005, he went through a devastating divorce followed only weeks later by the tragic loss of his 14 year old son to a rock climbing accident. These events put into motion the foundation of his program, 'A Ray of Hope'.
His professional life began with his 'early years' spent in the Military - specifically within the Intelligence Community. After leaving the service, he has now spent more than 30 years as an educational expert, specializing in turning stressed-out students into stress-free scholars. Shortly after after 9/11, he chose to re-enter government service with the Department of Homeland Security.
Now, Ray is taking his experiences from his personal and professional life and the lessons learned and sharing them with others through his 'Shades of Faith / Shadows of Fear' programs and workshops.
